Membership Information

Full Members are social workers holding a provisional, professional, or permanent Pupil Personnel / School Social Worker license issued by the Ohio Department of Education.

Associate Members are social workers in settings other than school social work or professionals with an interest in school based services. This also includes colleagues, such as teachers, administrators, counselors, and consultants, in the field of education, and field instructors of Masters level social work students in a school setting, or faculty members in a Masters level school social work program approved by ODE.

Student Members are students currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters level social work program or related field that are interested in pursuing school social work as a career and/or seeking ODE licensure.
